Corporate Social Responsibility

To our customers, partners, clients, and supporters,

I'm David, the director for Social Commitment for Culture Fish. Originally, I came to China as part of a fellowship my university to engage in social commitment. As I've continued to work here in China, I want to maintain a high level of commitment to social justice and ethical business practices here in Culture Fish Media.

This letter is meant to give you all a short statement about the corporate social responsibility goals for Culture Fish Media. Right now, CFM's biggest goals for corporate social responsibility and best business practices are creating educational opportunities for Chinese students through projects like the China Dreamblogue and the Library Project. However, there are other significant best business practices we engage in, and we want to make our clients and supporters fully aware of these practices, commitments, and beliefs.

White-hat SEO and Web Design

All search engine marketing and search engine optimization we do will be strictly white hat, meaning we will only techniques approved and condoned by other SEO professionals. We will use high quality, original content in the creation of internet optimization and marketing for your site. We will avoid unethical linking schemes, over-optimization, and black-hat SEO techniques that produce artificial results and unwanted side effects for your site.

Intellectual Property

The team at Culture Fish Media maintains a strong commitment to protecting the intellectual and artistic property of its team and its clients. Media that violated intellectual property rules will not be used, and best business practices related to intellectual property will be maintained at all times.

Transparency and Confidentiality

The team at Culture Fish Media maintains a policy of transparency and will not withhold pertinent information from a client regarding their business and advertising.

At the same time, the team at Culture Fish Media will be protective of its clients' needs for confidentiality and sensitive information will not be released without the prior consent of the client.

These policies of transparency and confidentiality are meant to maintain high standards of quality for innovative marketing and digital ingenuity for our clients and for our team.

Internship Program

Professor Hodge, Siok Siok, Ryan, and I all work or have worked as educators, and as educators and teachers we are committed to helping gifted students disadvantaged by gender, race, class, disability, or other challenge. We maintain an internship program in digital media and internet marketing to teach students like these about the power of digital media and to give them skills that will allow them to be successful in contemporary China's extremely competitive job environment.

The China Dreamblogue and the Library Project

The China Dreamblogue and The Library Project [http://library-project.org] are two organizations designed to Chinese students and children increase the standard and quality of their education. Both organizations receive support, funding, and other resources from the Culture Fish Media team.

Environmental Standards

Culture Fish Media will refuse to work with companies that don't make plans for environmental sustainability. Culture Fish Media actively pursues a program of environmentally sustainable business practices and actively seeks out clients and partners who pursue similar programs.

A portion of all profits from Culture Fish Media will go to The China Charity Federation, one of China's largest and most respected and established charities. Culture Fish Media will also support and maintain programs with its strategic partners to donate money and time to charitable projects around China.
